Hi,
I think English will be better, because most of us learnt Russian and English at school
The reunification of German soccer began 1991/92. Earlier there was the Eastern part with:
- DDR-Oberliga
- Liga (divided up into 2 relays (north and south)
- Bezirksliga (divided into 15 parts)
For one season (1990/91) there was:
-Oberliga Nordost
- Liga (2 parts: norh and south)
- Landesliga (5 parts: Sachsen, Brandenburg, Thüringen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Berlin)
- Bezirksliga (14 parts)
After Season 1990/91, the champion (Hansa Rostock) and the 2nd (Dynamo Dresden) from the Oberliga Nordost joined the 1.Bundesliga.
Place 3 to 8 (Erfurt, Halle, Chemnitz, Jena, Leipzig, Brandenburg) joined the 2.Bundesliga.
The rest joined the Amateuroberliga.
Some years after the reunification, famous teams like BFC Dynamo, Lok Leipzig, 1.FC Magdeburg (former Top-Teams in the East) now playing in the 4th League or less.
Hope I could help you for the first. Surely others can help you too.
