Mich wuerde mal interessieren ob von Euch jemand schon von der Idee von MyFootballClub gehoert hat. Solltet Ihr etwas englisch verstehen koennt Ihr Euch die Seite gerne mal angucken.
Ansonsten wuerde ich mal kurz erklaeren um was es geht.
Da ja in den letzten Jahren die Englische Premier League zum "Luxus-Hobby" von auslaendischen Milliardaeren geworden ist, hat sich ein englischer Fussballfan mal etwas neues ueberlegt. Sein Plan ist es mit Hilfe von Fans in der ganzen Welt ein Team in England zu kaufen und moeglicherweise in die Premier League fuehren um Chelsea und Co Konkurrenz zu bieten. Er hat mehrere Untersuchungen ausgefuehrt und ist zu dem Entschluss gekommen das Er mit ca. 1,375,000 englischen pounds (ca. 2,000,000 Euro) ein Team in der zweiten oder dritten Liga Englands kaufen koennte. Er moechte dafuer 50,000 Mitglieder auf seiner Seite haben die dann pro Person 35 pounds (ca. 50 Euro) pro Jahr zahlen und das ganze moeglich machen. Alle Mitglieder koennen bei der Anmeldung fuer das Team stimmen das sie gerne kaufen moechten. Dafuer steht auf der Internetseite eine Liste (zur Zeit ist Leeds United top) die dann benutzt wird um das bestmoegliche finanzierbare Team zu kaufen.
Wenn dann ein Team gekauft wurde haben die Mitglieder die komplette Kontrolle ueber die Mannschaft. Ueber die Internetseite wird dann abgestimmt wer gekauft/verkauft wird, wer spielt, wie gespielt wird usw., also alles was halt so normalerweise ansteht. Der Trainer der Mannschaft beschaeftigt sich also nur mit dem trainieren der Spieler und gibt dann im Internet seine Analyse ab. Die Fans/Besitzer entscheiden dann wer von Anfang an spielt.
Natuerlich gibt es noch mehr Einzelheiten dazu, aber soweit ist das erstmal das ganze Prinzip. Wenn man sich das ganze auf der Seite durchliest hoert sich das ganze schon ganz gut durchdacht an.
Ich selber stell mir das alles ziemlich schwierig vor, finde es aber eine klasse Idee mal was ganz neues zu probieren.
Also, wenn ihr gerne einmal im Jahr 50 Euro "spenden" wollt koennt ihr Euch Besitzer eines Fussballvereins schimpfen. Wenn Ihr noch Fragen habt und vielleicht nicht alles auf der Internetseite versteht kann Ich Euch gerne helfen.
Achso und zur Zeit sind uebrigens schon fast 35,000 Mitglieder registriert. Das ganze hat in England in letzter Zeit viel Medieninteresse bekommen und langsam waechst auch das Interesse hier in der USA.

Ich finde diese Idee gar nicht mal so schlecht aber wie können 50.000 Mitglieder übers Internet das Team aufstellen das muss doch der Trainer machen der täglich mit dem Team arbeitet oder werden alle Details im Internet über die Spieler veröffentlicht ????
Das mit dem kaufen des Vereins ist ja noch o.k. aber was danach passieren soll ist eher unrealistisch

Aber mit den 50 Euro zum Kauf der Clubs und 50 Euro je weiteres Jahr ist es wohl nicht getan. Zwar hängen die Einkünfte des gekauften clubs von dessen Namen, Stellung und Liga ab, aber 2 Mio. Euro mehr pro Jahr können ganz schnell wenig sein wenn man in die Premierleague will.
Ohne die englischen Gesetze jetzt genau zu kennen, sehe ich auch ein Problem in der Haftung. Was ist wenn der Verein Schulden macht und Geld nachzuschiesen ist. Das müssten die Eigentümer machen. Und das kann sehr schnell ins Geld gehen! Das die Eigetntümer eine Limited (GmbH ähnlich) gründen sollen um das Risiko zu verringern, sehe ich nirgends!
Das unter den bisher ausgewählten Topclubs Arsenal, ManU und Liverpool stehen ist dagegen eigentlich lustig.

Also seit Mai 2007 bin ich an dem Projekt interessiert und seit 1. August 2007 auch Mitglied.
In der ersten Phase wurden nur erstmal rund 50.000 Interessenten gesucht (die Zahl der Teilnehmer ist nicht begrenzt! ). Als man schon am 31. July 53.031 Fans weltweit von der Idee überzeugt oder wenigstens sie dafür interessiert hatte startete Phase 2.
Seit dem 1. August tragen sich derzeit die Mitglieder ein und überweisen ihr Geld für das erste Jahr Mitgliedschaft (35 Pfund), welches aber erst mit dem Kauf eines Vereins offiziell startet.
Bis Ende Oktober wurden weltweit rund 700.000 Pfund zusammengebracht, was etwa 25.000 MyFC Mitgliedern entspricht.
Nebenbei wurde seit August mit verschiedenen Vereinen verhandelt. Mehrere unterklassige Vereine sind von selbst auf MyFC zugegangen und wollten an das Projekt verkaufen, u.a. Halifax Town.
Bis zu neun Vereine aus Liga 4, 5 und 6 (also League Two, Blue Square Premier und Conference North/South) haben mit MyFC Verhandlungen aufgenommen. Ende Oktober wurde acht Vereinen absagt, man hat sich auf einen Kandidaten festgelegt, mit dem jetzt bis Jahresende der Übernahmeprozeß abgeschlossen werden soll. Dann startet Phase 3, die dann irgendwann den Klub nach oben bringen soll!

Fan website agrees club takeover
By Alex Perry and John SinnottFans' community website MyFootballClub has agreed a deal to take over Blue Square Premier outfit Ebbsfleet United.
The 20,000 MyFootballClub members have each paid £35 to provide a £700,000 takeover pot and they will all own an equal share in the club.Members will have a vote on transfers as well as player selection and all major decisions.
"We are united in believing this is a great opportunity," Ebbsfleet chairman Jason Botley told BBC Sport.
"This extra finance and support will enable our club to progress."
The deal is expected to be completed in a few weeks after a due diligence process and the website will purchase a 51% controlling stake, while also having the option to buy the club outright in the future.
The takeover is a landmark for English football, given the website's stated intention of involving the members so radically in the running of the club, particularly with team selection.
After the takeover goes through the current board will stay in place, as will manager Liam Daish, although his title will change to head coach.
Daish insisted that he was happy for fans to have an input on team matters.
"Picking 11 players and formations isn't a precise science and luck often plays its part," stated the Ebbsfleet boss.
"During and after matches, Ebbsfleet supporters often give me their opinion on which players should or shouldn't start games. Now they can have their say.
"My job won't change that much. As a club, we'll select the starting 11 players and formation together.
"But just as before, what goes on at the training ground and in the dressing room on the day of the match is down to me.
"It's the supporters' money that finances this club and pays my wages and those of the players.
"So there's a good argument for them having a say in what players they want to see."
Ebbsfleet were formerly Gravesend and Northfleet but the club's name was changed in May in a bid to tap into the regeneration of the area.
They are currently ninth in the Blue Square Premier, six points off a play-off place for entry to the Football League.
And Ebbsfleet's push for a spot in League Two will receive a boost as some of the funds raised by MyFootballClub members will be available in the January transfer window.
MyFootballClub members will be given the option to vote on who the club should buy.
Daish added that he was fully behind the radical model for the club.
"We all agree we need something extra to take us to the next step," he said.
"As a football fan, I think the MyFootballClub idea is fantastic.
"As the coach, I look forward to the challenge of working with thousands of members to produce a winning team.
"My assistant Alan Kimble and myself are 100% committed to making this work."
Since the website's launch in April, 50,000 members have signed up, with 20,000 of those paying the registration fee.
The membership subscription is paid annually so new members can join and become owners at any time, adding to the club's finances.
MyFootballClub was approached by nine clubs and looked into seven of those before opting to take over Ebbsfleet.
The Financial Services Authority has approved the setting up of the MyFootballClub Trust to safeguard members' interests in the eventuality of the club running into financial difficulties.
"The MyFootballClub ownership model is an innovative way of funding a lower league club," said Dan Jones, partner at Deloitte and editor of the Annual Review of Football Finance.
"Reports of having raised over £700,000 in 11 weeks suggests it is viable too.
"Deloitte has been following its progress with interest and we're now looking forward to offering our experience in football finance to assist with advice and guidance during the due diligence process."
MyFootballClub creator Will Brooks added: "We hope that MyFootballClub members and Ebbsfleet supporters will join forces and make the football club more sustainable and successful."
Jessica McQueen, Ebbsfleet United Supporters' Trust chair commented: "Being a Trust, our members understand the MyFootballClub concept immediately.
"We very much look forward to working with the MyFootballClub members for the benefit of Ebbsfleet United."
